Youth Pastors, Key World Evangelism Players

I believe with all my heart that one of the "most" essential servants in God's ministry is the Youth Pastor. He deals with young people at their most decisive age. They will determine where they will go to school or work, who they will marry, what they are going to do with their lives, and whether or not Jesus will get first place in their lives.

I have considered myself an overgrown youth pastor/director all of my ministerial life. Young people are my favorite people to preach to and teach. I have tremendous respect for our Youth workers.

With all of the above in mind, we want to honor the youth pastors with some special training. They are invited to go to Mexico with several missionaries and see firsthand the need of the world. We will take the Bible and teach them how to raise young people with a heart to take the gospel to the world.

Future missionaries are in our youth groups right now. They need to know that God wants to use their lives.
