Soul winning?
Widows?
Taking care of the membership
Entertaining
What deacons are not
Directors but servants
Representative government
Administrator but facilitator
Inspector
Controller
We believe that there are two offices in the church Philippians 1:1
Pastors
Deacons
Before being considered a deacon he should display the characteristics of a servant
Is he serving
Is he helping
Is he encouraging
Is he willing to do all the menial tasks that need to be done
Not looking to have power or prestige
God’s church should be operated in a completely Biblical manner. We must be careful to all be serving each other and not using incorrect influence
