Seek God’s face

Hosea 5:15 I will go and return to my place, Till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: In their affliction they will seek me early.
God will walk away and leave them in their sin. He waits on them to realize their corruption and failure. When they come to the consequences of their sins, they will repent. Unfortunately, things are going to have to get worse before they change. God leaves His people to their sin. He lets sin have its complete work in the life of a person. After sin works the person over God will be sought out.
They will hurt bad enough that they will know that they need God. Eventually, they will come looking for God. When they do, they will hunger for Him.
Why must we be so hard-headed? We need God. We live in sin. We prefer our rebellion. God allows things to happen to drive us to Him. I want to seek Him without the affliction. I want to seek Him early before my loved ones, or I have to hurt. So let’s seek God today.
