God wants you to pray

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
God wants to communicate with Jeremiah
Jeremiah is in prison and probably desperately wants to hear from God Jeremiah 33:1 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
God makes it clear to Jeremiah who He is and that He is all powerful Jeremiah 33:2 Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name; Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: 18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, is his name,
God wants Jeremiah to call on Him Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
God wants Jeremiah to know that He exists and is powerful Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God shares His plans with Jeremiah for Jerusalem and Judah Jeremiah 33:4 For thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
God will destroy their enemies Jeremiah 33:5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
God will restore them to their city and blessing Jeremiah 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. 7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
God will cleanse their sin and forgive them Jeremiah 33:8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
God’s power and goodness will make it clear how good, merciful, and powerful He is Jeremiah 33:9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
God wanted the entire world to know about Him
All the countries had gods but none other had the true God
God was going to bring joy back to His people Jeremiah 33:10 Thus saith the Lord; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast, 11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord.
God is a God that commands, challenges His man, His people to call on Him Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
God wanted Jeremiah to call on Him
He wants you to believe Him Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
He wants you to call on Him I Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

vii.Get up believing God
He wants us to pray believing Him, confident that He will hear and answer Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
The answer may not be what you want to hear but He will answer
He wants you to pray big prayers Psalm 81:10 I am the Lord thy God, Which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Be careful to pray according to His will and pleasure and not for your selfish desires James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Ask in faith James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
God wants to show you great things Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
God wants to work greatly in your life John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
He has bigger plans for you than you do
He wants to teach you truth Psalm 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, That I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
What hinders our prayer life
Failure in our marital life I Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Unconfessed sin in our life Psalm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear me:
We have already seen that doubt and unbelief hinder prayer James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
