God Rules

Daniel 2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

There are great truths in these verses. God gives a prophetic dream to Nebuchadnezzar.

It is impossible to tell the future accurately unless you are in charge of the future. God is! He is the Creator God. He owns the world. Nothing is outside His power or scope.

I want to worship God. I want to recognize Him for who He is. He determines if I live today or not. He determines my health or lack thereof. He rules in the affairs of men.

Do we worship Him for who He is and what He does? Do we ask His direction and guidance as we make decisions?

This is far more than a religious exercise. It is reality. God knows. God determines. God is to be honored, respected, feared, worshipped for who He is.

I want to live today thinking of God and His will for my life.
