God created it all!

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

• Did God literally create the world out of nothing?

• Can’t this story just be a story of creation that tells us that there is a God without being literal?

• Is the world billions of years old or only a young earth, maybe 7,000 to 10,000 years old?

• Was there a real Adam and Eve or are they just representatives telling us a story of how God created the world, maybe through evolution?

• If Genesis 1-3 doesn’t tell us the truth why should we believe anything else in the Bible?

• If we do not understand how we got here how do we know about our spiritual life, our purpose, our destiny

• If He didn't create us is He really our Redeemer? If we don’t know that He is the creator how do we know if there is life after death, heaven, hell?

• If this verse isn’t true how do I know any verse is true?

• Why should we try to make the Bible fit with science instead of the other way around

• Why should we try to make the Bible seem good and right to lost, God-haters

1. If you are a believer then where do you start believing? Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2. For many, the idea that the world was created by God seems a stretch.

3. Science proves that it is millions if not billions of years old

4. Where did the dinosaurs fit in

5. How could it be so different from what we know is true

6. If you doubt that the world is only a few thousand years old and that God did not literally create the world in 6 days then when do you start believing

7. Can you believe that there was a literal Adam and Eve?

8. Was there a garden of Eden

9. Was there a tree of knowledge of good and evil

10. Did they rebel against God?

11. Can you believe the story of how sin entered into the world?

12. Or can you believe why we die?

13. Can you believe that a man literally didn't die but walked with God and was not

14. Can you believe that the whole world was destroyed in a flood?

15. Can you believe that there was a tower of Babel?

16. Can you believe the first 11 chapters of Genesis?

17. If God didn't create the world like He says did men create God in their image?

18. If God didn't create the world then is the belief in God just a way to keep people morally inline

19. If God didn't create the world is there really anything that is right and wrong

20. If these verses aren’t true then you can see the way the entire Bible is built on a faulty foundation

21. If there was no Adam that brought death then is there no Christ that brings life I Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

If it wasn’t Adam’s sin, rebellion, disobedience that brought death was there a second Adam Christ who obeyed and brought life Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 23. If this verse isn’t true then we do not have a God-breathed authoritative Scripture II Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

24. We can’t really believe that God moved holy men rather we will have to believe men wrote their own book II Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

25. We will have to believe that Jesus was wrong when He said God’s Word was the truth John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

26. You can’t get away with saying that these words were figurative because the other Bible writers thought God meant exactly what He said. We were created in the image of God Himself James 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. I Corinthians 11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 32. If He didn't command the light out of darkness can he give light to know Jesus II Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

33. He was before all things and He created all things, not the other way around Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

He made all things through His Son, if His creation is figurative, is His salvation figurative Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

If He didn't literally create the first one, can He create the second one Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: And the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

36. We believe by faith Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

1. If you can deny God then you can deny all that He said and that He stands for

2. There will be no morality

3. There will be no right and wrong

4. Man need to not worry about being judged if he wasn’t created

If there is no God, there is no lawgiver Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

6. Paul warned Timothy about this false knowledge I Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

1. To deny this verse is to deny God and everything that He says. It puts man on the same level as animals because he is simply an animal that has evolved more

2. This gives rise to organizations like PETA who believe:

3. Animals have equal right to humans

4. In 1988 PETA released a statement quoting John Bryant in his book Fettered Kingdoms saying that “companion animals are like slaves even if they are well-kept slaves”

5. Ingrid Newkirk, PETA founder says “There is no rational basis for saying that a human being has special rights…. A rat is a pig is a dog is a boy.”

6. Evolutionist arrive at the belief that humans are mere animals with no purpose, no destiny, and no likeness to the Creator. We are no more like the creator than an amoeba. We have no mandate from God to subdue the rest of the creation

7. Since we are animals then any moral restraint is just what is best for society.

8. We can all “COEXIST” because there is no true God, true religion

9. All is a matter of chance and coincidence

1. These words form the basis for everything else in the Bible

2. You must choose to believe that God did create the heavens and the earth or you must believe that He did not

3. If He did not then He does not exist at all, nothing has purpose or makes sense.

4. Every other word in the Bible hinges on these words. Every truth stands or falls based on these first verses

5. The creation proves His authority
