Dreamer Preparation


Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.


  1. Attitudes the dreamer must learn to have

  2. Love in spite of being rejected by others and especially your loved ones

  4. His employer—Potiphar

  5. His friends in the prison

  6. Have a positive attitude even while living in serious problems

  7. In the slave market

  8. In Potiphar's house

  9. In the prison

  10. Keep going even when you are misunderstood by your family or your employer--Potiphar

  11. The dreamer must learn to be patient

  12. He must learn to wait on God

  13. Joseph knew that God was going to bring his dream to pass

  14. He had a good attitude even while living in the middle of chaos

  15. Learn the lessons where you are now, do not forget that God is making a man of God

  16. Take advantage of every step of your life

  17. He learned administration while a slave and later while he was in prison

  18. Learn to work without making excuses or complaining

  19. Any other person would have had an opportunity to complain or destroy things around him

  20. Don’t be the slothful person with lots of excuses

  21. The dreamer must learn to enjoy intimacy with God

  22. He was lonely, He had lost his family and solo only had his relationship with God

  23. He had no one to spend time with

  24. Being alone he learned to spend time with God

  25. There in the presence of God He learns that it is God that gives the dream and God that will bring the dream to pass

  26. Birth, death, and resurrection of a dream

  27. We must die to ourselves

  28. We must keep our hearts and minds on the Lord God Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on thee: Because he trusteth in thee. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
