When Jesus was born the Savior was born. That was the announcement that the angel made.

Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

God was sending someone to rescue the broken and beaten human race from death, destruction, and eternal damnation in hell. Notice the announcement was to all people. These were tidings, news, that should make everyone happy.

If you are honest you like everyone else on this planet has chosen to live life on your own terms, going your own way, believing and doing what you want. You have, in other words, sinned against a Holy God. It can be quite difficult to humble yourself enough to admit that you need God. You have always taken care of yourself, been personally responsible. To admit you are one of those needy, hurting, messed up people is just too much to admit.

You do not have to wait till you hit rock bottom! You can be honest enough to admit that in the dark night when you are alone and all is quiet that your conscience brings out things you are embarrassed about, ashamed of, and you need forgiveness for.

You need wait no longer. The Savior has come. Trust what He did for you when He died on the cross for your sins, was buried for you, and then rose again. Tell Him today that you need Him and will believe Him and trust Him and you will be born again. saved, on your way to Heaven.
