Blood on your hands

Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
This passage spoke to me again today! What am I doing to warn the wicked, the lost, about death and hell? I know the truth. Those of you that read this blog know it also, at least the majority of you. So what are we going to do with the reality we know?
As a boy, I sang the song, Brethren we have met to worship! The words that pushed and motivated me were the following:
Brethren, see poor sinners round you slumb’ring on the brink of woe;
Death is coming, hell is moving, can you bear to let them go?
Biblically, we are commanded to tell them about Jesus. We are to warn them of hell coming. We are to give them the gospel, good news.
If we warn them and they refuse to listen, then they are responsible for their destiny.
If we fail to warn them, then we are held responsible.
This sounds harsh, but Paul felt much the same thing. He said
Acts 20:26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
What are we doing to get the gospel message of Jesus Christ around the world? Are we witnessing? Are we praying for the Lord to work and send forth laborers? Are we giving to send the gospel to the world?
